After clicking on a conversation in the “Conversation” page, if the conversation is particularly long, a loading screen appears for 1-2 seconds after entering the conversation. In previous versions before 1.8.0, no matter how long it was, it opened instantly. How did it regress after the update? Could it be that the update increased the performance requirements on the phone system?
Additionally, after clicking the last reply box of the AI character, there is a noticeable delay. Ideally, the “Copy,” “Undo,” and “Continue” buttons should appear instantly. Is it really a performance issue? Is the Snapdragon 8+ phone not sufficient for Omate anymore?
Is it possible to cancel it? Originally, there was no need to load when entering, and now there’s a loading animation, which always makes it feel like the phone is lagging…
The reason has already been mentioned in the new announcement: to support scrolling up to view the generated content during streaming output. This is a highly requested feature by the community.
It cannot be canceled, but you can use the previous version.
The last message box’s three buttons indeed have noticeable delays and are not very smooth. If you can optimize it, that would be great; if not, it’s still usable.
The popup itself is fine, it’s just appearing at the bottom of the interface. The animation you see is not the popup, but the message list scrolling, so it might be a bit slower than others.
